& the best developed pupils form the best schools"

Welcome From Jo & Tracy!

Thank you for visiting our web page.  Before you explore a little more we would like to tell you a little bit more about ourselves.

Hi, I'm Tracy and I'm a mum of three teenage boys, (so I certainly have my work cut out there!)  I have had a passion for drama since I was at high school but was a little shy back then, so I found myself in the school choir rather than being centre stage in the school productions.  Twelve years ago I became a volunteer at a local children's community drama group and took my then three young sons along with me. It soon became apparent that I had a talent for writing and producing drama productions and it didn't take long before I became the lead volunteer. Through sheer hard work, determination and with the help of other volunteers the drama group has grown from strength to strength. So with my ever evolving passion for creating,  I decided that I wanted to make a career out of my new found talents and so ImagineNation was created from my Imagination. To turn what was essentially a hobby into a living is now enabling me to live my life in what I thought was only ever going to be a dream.

Hi, I'm Jo and I'm a mum of one and a Nana of two. “ But you don't look old enough Jo" I hear you say, (why thank you very much!)  As well as drama one of my other passions in life is football and I am particularly a fan of the Manchester City variety.  I have one grandson who's only love for drama is on a football pitch and a granddaughter who for five years attended the community drama group that Tracy ran and it was because of this I became a volunteer there myself. After seeing the fantastic work the drama group was doing and because I’ve loved acting since performing in many school productions, it was easy to offer my services. As Tracy and I work so well as a team, taking drama into schools was something we discussed on many occasions and the fact that we have now turned what was essentially a dream into a reality and gained such positive feedback, especially from the children, it is in itself extremely rewarding.

With an appreciation of the importance of P.S.H.E. education within schools, it is an absolute privilege to create and then deliver our workshops and hopefully help towards making the children of Lancashire the good citizens we know they will go on to become.
